LUNCH BREAK- 30 MINS PER DAY

JOB PURPOSE:

To Program, set and operate multiple Mitsubishi CNC spark erosion machines to produce precision components from various metals in small to medium batch sizes within an ISO9001:2015 quality system.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• CNC spark erosion programming and operation experience.
• Fixture and electrode design and manufacture.
• Communication with Management, Production and Inspection to ensure that complex components are manufactured to drawing and schedule.
• Physically fit and able to lift safe loads.
• Basic machine cleaning and maintenance.
• In-process component inspection.
• Work to the production system documentation and provide any relevant feedback data when required.
• Be positive and adaptable.
• Work within EDS Engineering procedures and current Health and Safety legislation.
• Strong attention to technical detail and process data recording.

 PREFERRED ABILITIES:

• Mitsubishi EDM experience.
• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Toolmaking and bench fitting skills.
• Basic design and CAD skills.
• General manual and CNC machining skills.
• Process instruction and training abilities.

 THE ROLE WOULD SUIT:

• A toolmaker with spark erosion experience.
• A production spark eroder looking to move into engineered components.

 SALARY: £40,000 – £45,000

£40 – 45,000 dependent on skills and aptitude
