The Portable Oxygen Unit is designed to provide a constant flow of breathing oxygen during flight to a designated passenger requiring oxygen for therapeutic reasons. The Portable Oxygen Unit shall only be used to supply medical oxygen to passengers as approved by the airline Health Services.

The Portable Oxygen Unit is designed to provide a constant flow of breathing oxygen during flight to a designated passenger requiring oxygen for therapeutic reasons. The Portable Oxygen Unit shall only be used to supply medical oxygen to passengers as approved by the airline Health Services.
The unit is portable and self contained and consists of a high pressure oxygen cylinder and pressure regulator headstock housed within a durable thermoplastic case. Access to the oxygen outlet and flow control is via a hinged transparent polycarbonate lid. Gauges are provided to indicate the cylinder contents and the outlet oxygen flow. An oxygen mask is provided stowed within the case.
