SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator to join the team at Didsbury Engineering based in Wilmslow, Cheshire to assist with the efficient and smooth running of the Sales and Technical Department.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as first point of contact for incoming telephone calls to the business
  • Generate and input of quotes and orders into the company ERP system (training provided)
  • Collaboration with procurement / production departments to define customer delivery dates
  • Customer communications related to current order status
  • Providing general administration support to Sales and Technical Departments including data entry, filing, shredding and correspondence via telephone, letter and email including marking material
  • CRM System maintenance
  • Management of business post, incoming and outgoing
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Group product and services and cross and/or upsell when liaising with customers
  • Assist Finance with the management of payment of customer orders
  • Acting as first point of contact for site visitors and overseeing arrangement for meeting rooms, food and drink, diary management, travel-related bookings.

Personal Skills / Attributes:

  • Experience in a customer facing role, preferable sales based.
  • Good standard of written and verbal English with an excellent telephone manner
  • Positive approach / attitude to customer service (both internal and external customers)
  • Computer literate with intermediate/advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
  • Able to work alone and self-motivate and as part of a larger team
  • Positive approach / attitude to customer service (both internal and external customers)
  • Continuous-improvement mindset; highlight inefficient processes and suggest changes

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week with a daily half hour lunch break.
