Primary Functions / Responsibilities:

 

  • To carry out duties in line with standard procedures as instructed, and in line with all and any technical documentation and OEM maintenance instruction’s
  • Attention to detail and an appreciation of the exceptional working standards required in the aviation industry
  • The ability to use tooling and test equipment in the correct and safe manner
  • Gain understanding and practical experience of composite material repairs, and paint material application as required and in accordance with the various CMM information
  •  To work within a team environment, and as an individual with good communication skills at all required levels
  • Gain a thorough working and practical knowledge of Component Maintenance Manuals, and other service instructions, SB’s, AD’s, TSO’s and other technical instructions
  • Responsible for adhering to Health and Safety rules and procedures including PPE usage
  • Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying respect to colleagues and equipment
  • Always understand and carry out safe handling and storage of all dangerous goods and hazardous items, such as high-pressure cylinders and vessel’s, explosives, gases and chemicals
  • To apply and gain understanding of EASA regulations and other applicable regulatory bodies in line with service and maintenance of aviation equipment.
  • A keen appreciation of quality assurance
  • Willingness to learn and develop one’s own capabilities within the industry sector
  • To work safely, within guidelines and in accordance with instructions and safety data procedures
  • To work to set standards and deadlines and follow instructions both verbally and written
  • Always adhere to company policies and procedures
